Our rods are designed and handcrafted on the Coosa River, using only the finest materials. We use various carbon fiber recipes – from standard modulus to high modulus – along with fiberglass composite blends tailored for specific applications. Our blanks are sourced from a leading global manufacturer, ensuring top-notch quality and performance.

The creation of a Keeper Rod is a meticulous process. We carefully select and align complementary components, considering weight, strength, power, action, and durability. John has developed unique techniques to align rod blanks, preload them for optimal guide spacing, line up splines, and select and align guides for maximum casting distance and line support. We also hand-turn our own grips, setting us apart from typical assembly-line companies.

We stand behind the quality of our rods with a limited lifetime warranty against defects.
